As final action before crawling into bed, Jon routinely locks his bedroom door. Even when he lives alone.
It is a habit turned compulsion. If the door is not locked, Jon has difficulty sleeping.

Facts About Jon, Number 62
Over a handful of childhood years, Jon displayed a form of Chronic Tic Disorder, or what most people would likely refer to as a mild case of Tourette’s Syndrome. The semi-voluntary action involved an irregular blinking to allieviate an uncomfortable sensation of the eye.
Jon was able to suppress the compulsion until it eventually faded.
