Articles of Confession
I love when people use this line to end a phone call.
“I’m going to let you go.”
Even though you are the one choosing to end the call, the reason is not because you are simply ready to finish the conversation, but instead, you suggest that I am the one with important matters to attend to. You are going to let me go, so as not to waste my time.
Thank you for understanding my busy schedule.
