Burnt Offerings

so tonight was not the first night i have seared a tuna steak for dinner, but for some idiotic reason, i decided to drop the tuna on the pan rather than carefully placing it. you see, when searing a tuna steak, i pour a bit of hot sesame oil on the pan just before putting the steak on. that means when i dropped it on this time, it caused the oil, scaldingly hot as it was, to shoot off the pan and onto my exposed arms. luckily the surgeons were able to reattach them, and i ate my tuna steak with just a small bit of soy. delicious, yet momentarily painful.
