The Dating Show Contestant

Girl: Contestant Number 2, tell me the story of your first kiss.

Contestant: First kiss? Okay. Her name was Devon. She had been pursuing me for some time, but I was never receptive. Not that she wasnt cute; I just wasnt interested at the time. I remember she had dark, wavy hair and big, brown eyes.

And cooties.

I was doing my best to keep distance between us. I rounded the jungle gym and tried to sprint my way up the slide. An amateur mistake I wouldnt make again. Sand from my Keds kept me from maintaining friction, so I only got halfway up before sliding back to the bottom.

Im not sure why I turned to face her at that point. Maybe, on a subconscious level, I wanted her to kiss me. So, face to face, she pinned me back against the slide, placed her lips to mine, and kissed. It only lasted a moment, but the memory will be with me always.

Girl: Okay, follow-up question: Have you been tested or treated for cooties?

Contestant: Well, I had gotten my shot earlier that day, but only in my arm. For some reason, I hadnt thought to get Circle Circle Square Square. It was never really an issue though. I later remembered getting them both the previous week, and had luckily followed up with Circle Circle Knife Knife, so that way I had it all my life.
