so tonight was not the first night i have seared a tuna steak for dinner, but for some idiotic reason, i decided to drop the tuna on the pan rather than carefully placing it. you see, when searing a tuna steak, i pour a bit of hot sesame oil on the pan just before putting the steak on. that means when i dropped it on this time, it caused the oil, scaldingly hot as it was, to shoot...
